Does it matter if I’m a new writer?

Nope! As a new writer, NOW is the ideal time to commit to learning story structure and the craft of writing. You’ll be off to a GREAT start learning solid character driven plot at the beginning of your career.  This course will put you on a shorter and smoother path to completing your story, and the next one.

I’m already a published Romance writer. How will this course help me?

Even published authors run into speed bumps—the need to be plotting the next book, even as you’re writing the current one, time constraints and, this is the most important, finding yourself wanting to change sub-genres within Romance, or switch to a genre with strong Romantic Elements instead of straight Romance. So, even if you’re comfortable writing what you’re writing now, plan ahead. Find ways to tighten the revision process, so you can focus on the next book quicker. This workshop will not be at this price again, you may not need it today, but you’ll have it in your tool box when you do need it.

How do the sessions work?

The moment you enroll you’ll have access to ALL the lectures, quizzes and course materials. You can begin as soon as you are ready. No need to wait until the Live Workshop begins in February. The online classroom begins with a welcome and introductory section, and is then set up by week to keep things organized. Plus, during the live workshop, I’ll cover questions by the week, starting of course with week 1. You can choose to wait until we start in February, but be sure to do the pre-work before then so you are ready to hit the ground running.

What if I have questions as I’m reading the material?

During the live workshop Q&A sessions you’ll have the opportunity to post your questions during the session and get an immediate response, plus input from fellow attendees. You can also email Mary directly if you can’t attend the Q&A sessions.

What if I can’t attend a specific Q&A session?

If you’re worried about missing a session, there’s no need.  All the weekly Live Q&A sessions will be made available for replay.
