Frequently Asked Questions about the Mastering Body Language for Writers Workshop
Does it matter if I’m a new writer?
Nope! If you’re new to writing it’s the ideal time to commit to learning the nuances of the craft of writing. You’ll save yourself from developing bad writing habits and avoid the need to unlearn them. Your path to solid writing will be shorter and smoother.
How long will I have access to the workshop?
You get forever access to ALL of the workshop materials, lectures and even the live sessions. Once you enroll, the entire workshop is yours permanently, which means you can go back and review any part of the workshop whenever and as often as you want. It’s a lifetime resource for your writing!
How do the sessions work?
Immediately upon registration you will have access to Mary’s online classroom a for the Mastering Body Language for Writers Workshop and have access to all the material in the classroom, so you can get started right away. During June and the first week of July, each week you will be able to join a LIVE Q&A session with Mary.
When does the workshop start?
The moment you enroll you’ll have access to ALL the lectures, quizzes and course materials. You can begin as soon as you are ready. No need to wait until the Live Workshop begins in June. The online classroom begins with a welcome and introductory section, and is then set up by week to keep things organized. Plus, during the live workshop, I’ll cover questions by the week, starting of course with week 1. You can choose to wait until we start in June, but be sure to do the pre-work before then so you are ready to hit the ground running. This isn’t an overview look at Body Language. It’s a full course that dives deep, so expect to study hard!
How do I participate? Can I ask questions?
You will be able to send questions to Mary prior to each Q&A session, plus during each live session you will be able to post questions for Mary, so you receive immediate feedback. So ask away! It really is the best way to learn.
Will there be replays of the live, Q&A sessions?
YES. Every lecture will be available for you to review for deeper understanding. It’s a great idea to take light notes the first time through and during the live Q&A sessions, then go back and watch them as many times as you like when you can pause them to make notes and review key sections.
What if I can’t attend a specific Q&A session?
If you’re worried about missing a session there’s no need. While attending live allows you to post questions as they come up, if you can’t make a Q&A you will have the replay shortly after the session ends so you don’t fall behind. I want the workshop to be effective for every writer!
